Minmen get their first win behind workhorse Jon Sargent. Sarg throws a 7 inning CG with 6 k's. Minmen lead 5-2 into bottom of the 6th when Maddogs plate 2 to make it 5-4. Top 7th, runners on 1st and 2nd, 2 outs, Mike Nardelli singles sharply to left and the ball gets past the outfielder, allowing both runners to score. Nardelli who was at third after the error, then scored on a sac fly from Ryan Bere. Bere had a big day, looking very sharp on D at 3B and going 2-3, with a 2B, 2 RBI, and a run offensively.
