Beacons jumped out to a 7-0 lead in 1st on 3 hits. Added 4 more in the 3rd and coasted from there. Nick O'Keefe, 19 year old from Anna Maria College was sidelined since opening day with an elbow problem. He came up large and in charge tonight. Nick had 4IP; no runs; 2H and walked 4. Peter Karl pitched the 5th and got the win even tho the he gave a HR that broke the shutout. Karl was 2 for 4 scored twice as well. he was joined Mike Barthel 2 for 4 one run scored and 2RBI. Drew Tambling went 2 fro 4; scored twice had 3 stolen bases and 3 RBI. Jake Souto came off the bench and went 2 for 3. Chelsea's #8 batter Brown smashed two homers - a solo job in the 5th off Karl and a two run liner off of Tim Brettington in the 6th.
