Brighton Brewers 10, East Boston Bombers 6
Much like their meeting earlier in the week, the Brighton vs. East Boston match-up was a back and forth affair. The Brewers jumped out to an early lead, putting up 7 runs in the second inning. After a pitching change, East Boston quieted the Brewer bats, and chipped away at the lead with 2-runs in 3 of the next 4 innings, cutting the lead to just 2.
But Brewers answered with 2 runs in the bottom of the sixth to extend the lead to 4, and ended up winning by that margin. Jeremy Dalton pitched well, going 5+ innings in picking up the win. Mike Mish pitched very well in relief for the Bombers, giving his team the opportunity to get back in the game. |
