The Rockies win the playoff series 3-1 against East Boston. Congratulations to East Boston on a great year and a hard fought, clean, series.

The Rockies took the early lead scoring 2 runs in the 1st and 1 in the second, highlighted by a monster 3B by Chad Conner. Sean Magee pitched a gem until the 5th inning when the EB bats rattled Magee to score 3 runs and tie the game at 3-3. A leadoff HBP to DeFillipo of EB came back to hurt the Rockies as he scored on a single by Navarro to take the lead in the top of the 7th. But the Rockies top of the order was coming up. A leadoff walk to Bucciarelli, a single by Jalbert, an RBI single by Moran, and a HBP to Spitz set the stage for Chad Conner coming to the plate with the bases loaded and the scored tied at 4-4. Chad lined a 2-2 pitch into the RF gap to plate the winning run. Conner ended 3-4 on the day.
