The Blue Sox defeated West Roxbury 3-1 in a classic pitcher's duel between Aaron Greenblatt and Greg Rockwell. Greenblatt carried a no-hitter into the sixth and was broken up with 2 outs by Mike Ryan. Greenblat finished with a 2 hitter and his 1st Yawkey League win. DiCenso, Bucci, and Kaperniak each collected 2 hits and Rauseo and Guerino each had RBI singles.

The win improved East Boston to 10-15 and kept their quest for the playoffs alive.

Blue Sox pitcher John Forbes pitched a tremendous game and the Sox ended a franchise worst 9 game losing streak beating West Roxbury 4-2. The Blue Sox win kept their faint playoff hopes alive improving to 9-15 on the season.

Timely hitting propelled the Sox, Chris Bucci 1 hit and 2 runs, John Kaperniak 3 hits and 1 run, and Donnie King 2 hits, 3 RBI, and 2 runs.

Szathmary pitched well for Westie and Robbie Lepardo had 2 hits in a losing effort.

Mike Regan (WR) goes 6 2/3 of no-hit baseball and 1 stike away from no-hitter against Brookline, but is beat in 8 innings. Shaun Farrar has the best Dodger outing of the year, going the full 8 innings, not allowing an earned run. Joe Mitchell triples in the winning run in the eight inning in one of the most exciting YBL games in recent memory.

Hornet Catcher Buddy Murphy provided enough fire power in the 1st inning with a monster double that plated 3 runners and helped Savin Hill to a 5-2 victory over a red hot Westie team that had won 5 straight ball games.

The Bronco threats were beaten back by timely Savin Hill defensive play that left Westie stranding a whopping 12 men on base.

Gregg Rockwell upped his record to 3-1 on the season as WR defeated Cambridge. Cambridge pitcher Mo Neil lulled the WR hitter until the 6th inning pitching a balls out game.

Dave Sheehan and Tom Feeley were the offensive stars of the game for WR. Sheehan was 2-3 with a triple and 3 RBI. Feeley was 2-3 with 2 2Bs and the game winning RBI.

Aidan Powers fired a five-hit shutout to outduel Bill Clang as the A's escaped with a 1-0 win over the Broncos. Steve Sherman's diving catch in centerfield with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th with runners on second and third ended the game. Andy Doyle drove in the game's only run on a fielder's choice in the 2nd inning.

Bryan Gauvin pitched 6 innings, SO 12, and allowing just 1 hit as he captured his 3rd win of the season. The first batter he faced singled and was the only hit. No other West Roxbury player reached base until a 7th inning walk. Gauvin retired 16 straight batters in his outing. Sean Kennedy started the game but was removed after just 1 inning of work.

Gregg Rockwell improved to 2-1 on the season as West Roxbury defeated rival South Boston 5-4 at Ross Field. Tim Dacey went the distance for South Boston in a gutsy effort.

Joe Kehoe owned Dacey all night going 2-3 with 3 RBI and a SB. Rob Stephenson had a great game for SB making three outstanding picks at first while going 2-3 with an RBI.

The Maddogs got back to .500 at 4-4 by beating the West Roxbury Broncos 8-3. Starter Sean Gildea picked up his second win of the season and went into the 6th inning before running out of gas. Buddy Hanley came into the game with the score 5-3 and runners on 2nd and 3rd. After getting the first batter he faced on strikes Hanley hit the next batter to load the bases then struck out the side. After the Maddogs tacked on 3 more runs in the top of the 7th Hanley came back in the 7th and again struck out the side.

Catcher Matt Cooney had 2 hits and 3 RBI's and left fielder Joe Sheehan had a huge night with 3 hits, 2 runs and an RBI.

For the Broncos both Carey and Sheehan had 2 hits. Szathmary went the distance on the hill in a gutsy effort picking up 5 K's.

Pitchers had a rough evening at Billings field in West Roxbury as the two teams combined for 22 runs on 24 hits and 7 errors.

Savin Hill scored 8 runs in the 3rd and then held on as the fearsome Westies made their comeback run.

Gregg Rockwell picked up his first win of the season evening his record to 1-1 on the season as WR defeated McKay Club 7-4. WR battled back in the top of the seventh inning from a 4-2 deficit to take the lead for good 7-4. Joe Kehoe and Ryan Carey had two hits a piece for the Broncos and Eddie Gay and Tom Feeley pitched in with clutch RBI singles.

Rob Linn had two singles to lead the McKay Club.

Brian Cooper collected his first win of the season as he pitched a complete game, giving up just 2R on 7 hits, and striking out 6.

The Rockies scored 5 runs in the first, scoring on a bases loaded walk to Dan Jalbert (1-2, 1R), a 2 run double by Neal Roper (1-3, 1R, 2RBI), and a 2 run error on Bart Lawyer's (0-2) infield chopper. In the 3rd, Kevin Spitz (2-3, HR, 2RBI) hit a HR over the center field wall to add to the lead.

For the Broncos, Rob Lepardo (3-4, 2 1B, 2B, 1RBI) had a great day at the plate. Gregg Rockwell pitched 7 innings, striking out 7, but took the loss.
