DiCenso, Kaperniak, King, Navarro, Walsh each collected 3 hits, Norsen, Bucci, Rauseo, and Vatalaro collected 2 hits.

Jason Pokrant went 4 strong for his 3rd win of the season and DiCenso closed the game out for his 1st save.

White and O'Toole had 3 hits apiece for Savin Hill.

The Blue Sox defeated West Roxbury 3-1 in a classic pitcher's duel between Aaron Greenblatt and Greg Rockwell. Greenblatt carried a no-hitter into the sixth and was broken up with 2 outs by Mike Ryan. Greenblat finished with a 2 hitter and his 1st Yawkey League win. DiCenso, Bucci, and Kaperniak each collected 2 hits and Rauseo and Guerino each had RBI singles.

The win improved East Boston to 10-15 and kept their quest for the playoffs alive.

Blue Sox pitcher John Forbes pitched a tremendous game and the Sox ended a franchise worst 9 game losing streak beating West Roxbury 4-2. The Blue Sox win kept their faint playoff hopes alive improving to 9-15 on the season.

Timely hitting propelled the Sox, Chris Bucci 1 hit and 2 runs, John Kaperniak 3 hits and 1 run, and Donnie King 2 hits, 3 RBI, and 2 runs.

Szathmary pitched well for Westie and Robbie Lepardo had 2 hits in a losing effort.

Greg Crossman scored 3 times to help Mike McCarthy and the Rockies pull out a much needed victory. Dan Jalbert collected 2 RBIs on 3 hits, while Kevin Spitz had 2 hits of his own. McCarthy pitched 7 strong innings, only allowing 3R (1ER). A 3 run 5th inning broke open the game, but a 4 run 6th inning sealed the win.

For East Boston, Bucci was 2-3 with a 2B.

The Blue Sox completed the weekend sweep of South Boston and won the season series (2-1) by a score of 6-4 on Sunday. This game went back and fourth with the Blue Sox getting some timely hitting from Mike Norsen (3RBI), Mike Navarro (2RBI) and Chris Bucci and Paul Todesco each with 2 hits.

Donnie King returned to the mound to go 5.2 innings allowing 2ER for his second win of the season (2-0) and Paul "Game Over" Todesco came on for his 3rd save of the season.

The most heated rivalry in the YBL locked up for another classic tonight in front of the Comcast cameras with East Boston defeating South Boston 3-1. The Blue Sox have rallied to win late in the game 3 times this week. The Sox were trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the 5th with one out when Dave DiCenso reached on Romero's error, Mike Vatalaro walked, Pat Moore followed with an RBI FC, Moore then stole second and came all the way around to score on an errant throw from Murphy that skipped by the CF giving the Sox a 2-1 lead. The Sox padded the lead in the 6th with a single from Chris Bucci and an RBI single from Mike Navarro.

Jason Pokrant was outstanding for the Blue Sox on the mound going 6 strong innings allowing only 1 run and striking out 3. Paul "Game Over" Todesco came in for his 2nd save of the season.

Jon Tenney pitched very well for Southie going the distance allowing just 3 hits but his defense let him down.

The East Boston Blue Sox battled back from a 4-0 deficit in the bottom of the 7th inning to stun the Revere Rockies 5-4. This is the second time this week the Sox rallied to win in their final at bat. Revere starting pitcher Pina cruised through the first 6 innings shutting the Sox out on 2 hits. But the Sox mounted the rally on a lead off walk from Steve Walsh, followed by a single by Donnie King, an RBI single from Mike Norsen, a walk from Paul Todesco, RBI single from Paul DeLeo, RBI FC from Chris Bucci, RBI walk from Jack Halas and a walk off RBI walk from Mike Navarro.

John Forbes went the distance for the Sox for his second win on the season (2-3) scatterring 9 hits allowing 4 runs.

They continued the scoring in the 3rd with 2 runs on a triple by Jarome Farquharson and a SAC Fly by O'Malley. The Braves solidified their lead with 5 runs in the 4th with two 2-run singles and an RBI double. O'Malley led the Braves with 3 RBI while Tracy, Jim Walsh and Farquharson had 2 RBI apiece.

Donnie King then cleared the bases with a 2 run scoring triple, Mike Norsen then doubled King home and that was all DiCenso needed. Paul DeLeo also collected 3 hits for the Blue Sox.

The East Boston Blue Sox got their first win of the season today with a 6-0 victory over the Cambridge Yankees at pristine St. Peter's field in Cambridge. Blue Sox CF Pat Moore led off the game with a double to right on the first pitch. Paul DeLeo followed with an RBI double and would later himself score giving the Blue Sox an early 2-0 lead.
Donnie King made his season debut on the mound for the Blue Sox going 5 strong innings giving up 0 runs, 3 hits, 0 walks and struck out 4 in route to his first win of the season. Jason Pokrant pitched the final 2 innings for the save striking out 3 perserving the shutout for the Blue Sox.
The Blue Sox got some insurance room in the top of the seventh inning with a single from Deleo, single from Chris Bucci, RBI single from Mike Navarro, Sac Fly from Steve Walsh and a 2 RBI single from Mike Vatalaro extending the Blue Sox lead to 6-0.
Dennis Lafauci pitched well for Cambridge going 4 innings.

Eamonn McDonough went the distance striking out 5, walking 2 and allowing only 2 hits to get the win in Medford's first game in the YBL. Shortstop Buddy Hanley got things going offensively by leading off the 4th inning with a triple and scoring on Peter McKeown's base hit. Ryan Sweeney scored the Dog's second run on a ground ball by Hanley that was misplayed by the Blue Sox shortstop. Catcher Jay Sablone scored the third run after walking, moving to second on a ground ball, going to third on a wild pitch and scoring on the overthrow to third.

Pitchers Forbes, DiCenzo and Pocrantz did a fine job for the Blue Sox, holding Medford to 1 earned run, allowing only 5 hits and striking out 5.
