The Sabers would get out in front early, but the Braves would chip away to send the game into extra innings. In the 8th, the Braves put up 5 runs on Stoneham's bullpen. However, Evan DaSilva was able to come in and stop the damage. The Sabers bats came alive in the bottom half of extra innings. Leal, Grainger and Colucci recorded three hits in a row to begin the rally. Then down by three with 2 outs, the Sabers continued to grind out at bats to tie the game.
