Nick Powers fires a bullet from left field, as Angelo Colucci hangs on while runner collides into him, for a game ending double play as Stoneham takes a 2-0 series lead

In the 1st, Pizarro, Lenane and Powers would load the bases. Colucci would deliver a 2 RBI single. Chapman would then rope a RBI single of his own. Flanagan would plate Colucci on a groundout to cap off the rally.

Somerville battled back in the bottom half. Parrra, Maguire and Lightbody would all score to cut the lead.

It would stay the way until the 5th. Lenane, Powers and Colucci would load the bases. Chapman would line a RBI single to left. Agiorgousis would then hit a sac fly to add another.

In the bottom half, Gronkowski would hit a RBI ground out to plate Lightbody.

Somerville would push Parra across in the 6th.

McNamara would bear down and get the final 6 outs and struck out 3 to earn the save. Montiverdi earned the win for Stoneham.

Sam Cummings throws a complete game shutout as the Sabers take game 1 of a best of 5 series

Flanagan would lead off the 3rd with an infield single. Rice would groundout to place Flanagan in scoring position. With 2 outs Lenane would drop a double bewteen the outfielders to plate Flanagn.

That would be enough as Cummings would scatter 3 hits, striking out 5 to earn the win.

Sullivan was the tough luck loser for Somerville.

Southpaw Nick Powers, helps the Sabers win a decisive game 5 to advance to the semi-finals

Powers tossed 5 great innings of baseball, scattering 3 hits on 2 runs, while striking out 7 Rockies.

Pizarro would lead off the game with a single and eventually scores on a Quezada clutch RBI single to left field.

In the 2nd, Flanagan, Curtin and Pizarro would loaded the bases. Lenane would hit in Flanagan, followed by a huge bases clearing double by Powers.

Agiorgousis would lead off the 4th with a single and score on a Curtin batted ball.

Revere would chip away and score Foote in the 4th and Iafolla would blast a HR in the 6th. Stoneham would then give the ball to Lumb to close out the 6th.

In the 7th, Revere would load the bases with the winning run at the plate. McNamara would relieve Lumb and strikeout the heart of the Rockies lineup to seal the deal.

Hats off to Revere on a great season and a hard fought series.

Lenane's bass loaded 2 RBI double put the Sabers up 3-0 in the 2nd. Powers would then follow with a 2 RBI single of his own.

Chapman would blast a solo shot in the 3rd.

Stoneham would add 5 more in the 4th and 7 more in the 6th to put the game out of reach.

Cummings earned the win for Stoneham, pitching 5 solid innings.

Lumb would close out the game for Stoneham.

Powers went 3 for 5 with 6 RBI 2 R and a double.

Pizarro had 3 hits, 3 SB and 2 R.

Iafolla had 3 hits for Revere.

Quezada's bases clearing triple was enough to even the series at 1 game a piece

In the 1st, the Sabers would load the bases on a Pizarro walk, Lenane single and Powers walk. To set up a bases clearing triple by Quezada. Chapman would then hit in Quezada on a fielder's choice.

The Sabers would add 2 more insurance runs in the 4th. Rice and Lenane would single. Rice would later score on a Powers RBI single. Lenane would score on a Colucci batted ball.

In the 6th, Powers would blast a 2 run homer to put the game out of reach.

Dave Montiverdi pitched a complete game shutout, scattering 7 hits and striking out 3 to earn the win for Stoneham.

The Sabers got on the board early with a Colucci RBI to plate Lenane.

The Sabers would tack on 2 more in the 3rd on batted balls by Colucci and Rice.

In the 7th, the Sabers added some much needed insurance. Powers, Chapman, Creamer and Curtin all had RBI singles.

Powers earned the win, striking out 8.

Brundige would relieve Powers in the 6th and come up with big 3 outs and earned the 6 out save, while striking out 3.

Powers had 3 hits for Stoneham.

Stoneham would come right back with a Chapman RBI single to plate Rice.

In the 2nd, Cave would smash a 1 out double and later score on a passed ball.

The Sabers would add an insurance run int he 3rd. After a 2 out single by Colucci, Quezada would smash a RBI triple. Quezada would then score on a passed ball.

Creamer would draw an RBI walk in the 5th.

In the 6th, Pizarro would double and later score on a passed ball as well. Lenane would smash a double to plate Rice. Chapman would follow with a sac fly to plate Lenane.

Montiverdi would scatter 6 hits, striking out 7 Dodgers to earn his 3rd win of the season. Brundige would closed the door for the Sabers, striking out 2.

The Sabers add 2 insurance runs in the 5th. Creamer would lead off the inning with a single followed by a Cave walk. Pizarro would then hit a RBI single and Lenane would hit another RBI fielders choice.

Colucci would then score in the 6th on a passed ball to make it 4-0.

Dion tossed 5 shutout innings, scattering 4 hits and striking out 3 to tie a team high 4th win of the season.

Mainella went the distance and let up only 4 hits in the loss for the Dodgers.

The Sabers would grab some much needed insurance in the 6th. Lenane would lead off the inning with a double. Creamer would then hit a RBI single to score Lenane.

The Black Sox would threaten with the bases loaded, but Brundige would get Zamperelli to pop out to Colucci to end the game. Brundige earned the save and struck out 2 batters.

Nicholson was the tough luck loser for Brighton, striking out 9 Sabers.

McNamara tossed 6 shutout innings to earn the win.

Montiverdi getting the tough luck loss allowing 2 earned on 5 hits and striking out 4.

Braves start it off in the 1st with a Lindquist single, a Uberti single moving him to 3rd and a Smith Sac-Fly.

Sabers take the lead in the 3rd on a Pizarro single and Colucci single moving him to 3rd. Followed by a Chapman Sac-Fly and Quezada double.

Braves answer in the 4th on an absolute bomb to right by Uberti for a triple. McLaughlin doubles him in and then scores on an errant throw.

Sherman is able to retire the heart of the Sabers order (3-4-5) in the 7th to secure the victory.

The Sabers would get two back in the 5th on a RBI single by Lenane and Lenane would later score on a throwing error after a Quezada double.

The Townies would plate another on a O'Connor triple. They would threaten again in the 7th, but Brundige would hold them off to earn the Save.

Lumb earned the win for Stoneham pitching 6 solid innings.

Tommy Lenane's RBI single, helps Sabers edge Townies 5-4

The Townies would get on the board first on an O'Connor RBI single to score Santilli who laced a double to start the game.

The Sabers would battle back with 4 runs in the 4th. Lenane with hit a RBI triple to score Flanagan. Powers, Agiorgousis, and Cave would all have RBI singles to plate Lenane, Powers and Colucci.

Gonzalez's RBI single in the 6th would tie the game for the Townies.

In the 7th, Rice would sacrifice bunt and Pizarro would take advantage of nobody covering the bag to take third as well. Lenane would then hit a game winning RBI single to left field.

Powers got the start for Stoneham and pitched 5.2 solid innings. Agiorgousis would come in relief in the 6th, to shutdown the Townies who were threatening with runners on the corners. Agiorgousis would pitch a shutout 7th to earn the win.

McNamara and Pisani duel it out, as the Sabers edge the Maddogs 2-1 in a pitcher's duel at Maplewood

McNamara tossed 7 strong innings, striking out 9 batters, scattering 9 hits on 1 ER.

Pisani went 7 solid innings himself, striking out 6, scattering 5 hits on 1 ER.

In the 2nd inning, Cave would fire a strike to Quezada to throw out Treff trying to score.

Malden would threaten again in the 5th with the bases load and 2 outs. Argetsinger would blast a line drive to the CF fence, but Agiorgousis would make a spectacular play to track it down.

The Sabers would load the bases in the 7th. To set up a pinch hit RBI walk for Chapman.

Lopes would tie the game in the bottom half with a RBI single of his own.

In the 10th, Pizarro would reach base, Agiorgousis would move him over and Lenane would hit a game winning RBI single.

Lumb pitched 3 scoreless innings out of relief, striking out 5 on 1 hit to earn the win.

Nick Powers and Angelo Colucci hit back to back homers, to help the Sabers defeat the Braves 9-6

Agiorgousis would reach on an error in the first. To set up a 2 run blast by Powers. Colucci would then follow with a homer of his own to CF.

The Sabers would add more in the 3rd. Pizarro would lead off with a double and Lenane and Powers would follow with RBI doubles. Creamer would then hit Powers in with a RBI single.

The Sabers would push Curtin across in the 4th. Cave would hit a RBI double to plate Colucci in the 5th. Colucci would have a RBI HBP in the 6th to score Agiorgousis.

Braves would threaten in the 6th with the bases loaded and tying run at the plate. Brundige would get the finally out of the inning and go on to earn the 4 out save.

With the tying run at the plate in the 7th, Quezada would fire a missile to third to pick off the runner to end the game.

Braves battles back all night. Tracy 2H and 2RBI.

Zack Rice hits a game winning 2 RBI single in the 6th, to help the Sabers edge the Knights 5-4

EBK got on the board first, with a blast from Kenny Luongo and a Polanco RBI single.

In the 2nd, Quezada would blast a ball into the trees at Rec, but it would hit a tree and come back into play for only a double. Sabers would leave him stranded.

Sabers chipped away with an Agiorgousis RBI single to plate Rice.

Quezada would tie the game in the 4th with a sac fly.

Luongo would put the Knights back up with a RBI single.

Stoneham would load the bases in the 6th. Lenane would single, Flanagan would move him over with a bunt, Quezada would be intentionally walked and a Cave HBP. To set up a 2 RBI single by Rice, that would eventually clear the bases to score Cave on an over throw.

EBK would threaten in the 7th, but leave the tying run stranded on third.

Pizarro's diving catch saves runs in 6th.

Rice would hit a game winning 2 RBI single.

Stoneham would plate one early with a RBI triple that Lenane bounced over the RF's head.

Revere would then tie the game on an Iafolla fielders choice.

Stoneham would then strike back with a 2 run homer from Powers.

Revere would add another as they capitalized on a Saber miscue in the bottom half of the third. In the 4th, Revere would take the lead on DelRio 2 RBI single.

Chapman would then tie the game with a solo shot of his own.

Iafolla would hit a 2 run homer to put the Rockies up 2.

Down to their last out, Pizarro would hit a single to set up a heoric 2 run shot by Powers to tie the game and send it to extras.

Pizarro would hit a game winning 2 RBI double to score Flanagan and Creamer in the 9th. He also made a diving play in the 8th to save a run.

Braves bounce back from a tough extra innings loss on Sunday by defeating Stoneham 3-1 at Rogers.

Braves stay patient in the 1st, walking three times to load the bases. Post then drops one into shallow right to score 2. Tracy then smacks a liner over 3rd to score another and that's all the Braves would need.

Sabers score one in the 3rd on a Rice single, Cave double and a Pizarro sac-fly.

Anderson pitches another gem going 5.2 innings allowing 1 run on 4 hits, striking out 6. Beatrice came into the 6th for the 4 out save allowing a hit to Chapman which advanced Lenane to 3rd. Beatrice got out of the jam by inducing a grounder to 1st to end the inning. He would then strike out the side in the 7th for his second save.

Dionys Quezada hits a 3 run home run, that easily cleared Recreation Park's fence into the trees, as the Sabers defeat the Saints 5-1. Quezada is the first known player to hit a home run over the property line fencing.

Quezada stole the show, but Dave Montiverdi pitched 6 strong to earn the win. Montiverdi scattered 4 hits on 1 run, striking out 2 to earn his 2nd win of the season.

The Saints would score first on a Eschen single in the 3rd.

In the 5th, Tommy Lenane would smash a RBI triple to score Agiorgousis to knot up the game. He would then score on a passed ball. Angelo Colucci and Jon Chapman would then reach base to set up the games biggest hit. Quezada would smash a 3 run homer that would be about a 430 foot blast to put the game away.

Lyndon Brundige would then come in to close out the game in the 7th.

Right off the plane from Hong Kong, Sam Cummings tosses a complete game win

Cummings struck out 8, scattering 5 hits on no earned runs to earn his 3rd win of the season.

Brighton would get on the board first on a Saber miscue on a Latham batted ball.

In the 4th, Agiorgousis would draw a lead off walk and get to third base. When Chapman would hit a ground ball in the infield to tie up the game.

In the 7th, Brighton would threaten with runner at the corners and 1 out. Donnely would hit a grounder to Lenane at third, he would throw it to Creamer to get the out at second and Creamer would throw out Varakis trying to score from third at the plate.

In the bottom half, Colucci would hustle out a hit on a grounder to first, beating Ross to the bag. Quezada would follow with a single, to get Colucci in scoring position. To set up a Rice walk off single up the middle to plate Colucci.

Ross was the tough luck loser.

Cummings tossed a complete game win and Rice walked it off with a single for Stoneham.

ATBC bounced back and stunned the Stals with a win at McConnell. Bresnehan pitched well through 4 and a third, then Bill Clang came in and got the A's out of a jam. Duncan Finigan came in and snagged the save in the top of the 7th. At the plate, the A's jumped out to an early lead, and scored often to provide plenty of run support.

The Sabers offense plates 10, to grind out a win on a hot day at Recreation Park

The Sabers would jump on the board first with a RBI single by Lenane and RBI double by Chapman.

The Sabers would then plate 5 more in the 3rd. Colucci would hit a RBI single and Chapman would deliver another double to score 2 more. Agiorgousis would follow with a RBI double and Rice would hit a RBI single.

The Dodgers would battle back in the middle of the game to make it a ball game. Bakker would also chip in with a solo home run, that would roll all the way to fence. However, it wouldn't be enough as the Sabers would plate 3 more for insurance.

Dave Montiverdi got the start for Stoneham. Montiverdi tossed 4 solid innings, scattering 6 hits on one run and earned the no decision.

The South End Astros played excellent defense, kept the ball around the plate, and just kept getting outs to tally up a combined No Hitter between Leighton Helleberg and Christopher Avila. 9 Hits on the day for the Astros gave them the 3rd inning lead that they would never let go. Cesarin Baez collected 2 hits including a double. Angel Pena had a hit of his own. Carlos Luis also collected a hit and reached twice on hard hit grounders the tough scorekeeper called errors while collecting an RBI. Miguel Calderon reached on an error and had a double with an RBI. Anthony Baez collected 2 hits and 2 RBI's for the Astros. Jaime Roldan had a double as well.
