In the 2nd, Quezada would blast a ball into the trees at Rec, but it would hit a tree and come back into play for only a double. Sabers would leave him stranded. Sabers chipped away with an Agiorgousis RBI single to plate Rice. Quezada would tie the game in the 4th with a sac fly. Luongo would put the Knights back up with a RBI single. Stoneham would load the bases in the 6th. Lenane would single, Flanagan would move him over with a bunt, Quezada would be intentionally walked and a Cave HBP. To set up a 2 RBI single by Rice, that would eventually clear the bases to score Cave on an over throw. EBK would threaten in the 7th, but leave the tying run stranded on third. Pizarro's diving catch saves runs in 6th.
