Kennedy-Smith has another solid outing going 5 allowing 4 hits, 1 run, BB and 4 Ks. The only blemish was a solo homer to Jhiomar Veras (7) in the 4th.

After a clean first from both squads, Braves plate one in the 2nd on a Whitten double, advancing to 3rd on a WP and scores on a Tracy fielders choice.

Braves add 4 more in the 3rd after the first 2 batters are hit, followed by a Whitten RBI single. Then the big blow coming off the bat of DeFusco, belting a long 2-run double to straight away center giving the Braves all the runs they would need on the night. DeFusco ended the night 3-4 with a double, BB, 2 runs and 3 RBI.

Braves rookies Thomas Joyce collects his first 2 Yawkey hits and Rob Nadel pitches a scoreless 6th in his first Yawkey appearance.

ATBC takes home the victory behind solid pitching and patient at-bats. Pat Bresnehan picked up his 6th win of the season, and then the A's bullpen came in to finish off the game with 3 scoreless. Tom Trull and Chris De Giacomo led the A's at the plate with 3 rbis and 2 rbis, respectively.

Braves bounce back to end their losing streak. The bats wake back up after a dry spell and pound out 19 hits. Every Brave in the lineup had at least one hit. Lee led the offense going 4-5 with a double, triple, SB and scoring twice. Robb and Smith each had 3 hits.

Greeley went 5 scattering 4 hits allowing 2 runs. Chelelat pitched a scoreless 6th and Lee struck out the side in the 7th around a HbP and single.

South End's Maza was on base in all 3 plate appearances, hitting a triple, double and then getting hit by a pitch.

Defensive play of the game goes to South End's Vargas for hosing Lee at home trying to tag after a rocket line drive to center off the bat of Joyce in the 1st.

Ryan Souza Townies through 6 innings for the Townies picking up his second win of the season.

Andy Gonzalez of the Townies was 2-3 with a solo home run in the second inning giving the Townies the early lead.

After the Astros loaded the bases in the fourth inning with 3 straight hits, an errant pick off attempt to first allowed 2 runs to score.

The Townies were able to battle back to tie the game in the fifth and take the lead in the 6th inning.

The game was cut short due to the field lights being shut off.

Danny Lumb would then come in to close out the game for Stoneham.

Luis Rodriquez's 2 out 2 RBI single in the 1st, would be enough to keep the Sabers up for good.

Kevin Luciano smashed a 3 run home run, had 2 hits and 4 RBI and Dionys Quezada also launched a 2 run home run, and had 2 hits of of his own.

Blaine McLean, Brandon Imonti and Brad McLean handle the hard hitting Astros. Blaine pitched 5 innings and allowed 3 ER, Imonti came in and kept the Dogs in it over one inning with two Ks, and Brad went 2 innings in his season debut for the W.

A six run 5th inning got the Dogs back into it after trailing 7-1. Malden loaded the bases in the 8th with nobody out before George Gouthier hit into a FC to end the game, with Geoff Lopes scoring the winning run. Dogs improve to 2-2, SE drops to 3-3.

In a lights shortened 6 inning game The Astros came out on top tonight. Powered by 3 home runs by Clemente Parra and a home run by Junior Santos the Astros won there third straight game. Rookie Carlos Yen picked up his first YBL win tonight.

Jeff Cady for Savin Hill also went deep tonight.

Stoneham defeats a solid South End team 5-2 in a team effort

Joey Zampell got the ball for the Sabers. Zampell tossed 4 strong innings, letting up 1 run on 3 hits.

Rookie and Stoneham native Danny Lumb would come in and pick up his first career YBL win, pitching 2 shutout innings.

The Astros would strike first on a Chris Deane sac fly to break the dead lock in the 4th.

In the bottom half, Dionys Quezada would match Deane with a sac fly of his own to score Angelo Colucci.

In the 5th Luis Rodriquez would reach base and Sean Curtin would bunt for a hit to put runners on the corners. Rodriquez would then score on a wild pitch to put the Sabers up for good. Tommy Lenane would follow with a clutch RBI single for insurance. The Sabers would add 2 more insurance runs later on in the inning.

Maza reached base all 3 times for the Astros.
