Sam Cummings' brilliant performance helps the Sabers get past the Maddogs 2-1 in extra innings

Cummings threw an 8 inning complete game scattering 2 hits, while letting up 1 run, no earned, while striking out 10 Maddogs to earn his 4th win of the season.

Malden would get on the board first with a bases loaded RBI bunt by Maltzan in the 3rd.

It would stay that way all the way until the 7th with the Sabers down to their last out. Luciano and Adams would draw two key walks. When Colucci would follow with a clutch game tying RBI single to left field to score the pinch running Creamer to send the game to extras for the 2nd time in a week between the two teams.

With runners on 1st and 2nd in extras, the Maddogs would throw the ball away on a failed double play attempt on Pizarro, allowing Flanagan to score the winning run.

Colucci led the Saber offense with 3 hits, 2 doubles and a RBI.

McKay Club bats were alive today as they faced a tough and gritty Malden Maddogs team. McKay was out front most of the game but Malden battled back eventually to go up 8-7 heading into the final frame. McKay Club responded with 5 runs in the top of the 7th after giving up its fair share of leads.

Blaine McLean pitches around a three run first inning and goes the distance to pick up the W. Joe Klingensmith's 3R HR in the 3rd tied the game and gave the momentum back to the Dogs. A 5 run fifth capped by a 2out 2RBI single by PJ McDonald gave the Dogs a 10-5 lead that they would be relinquish.

After falling down early some clutch hitting gets Revere back in the game. Sean Glavin laced a 2 RBI double to cut into the Malden lead. Bobby Foote delivers the go ahead and eventual game winning hit on a 2 RBI single in the top half of the 7th.

Alex Torres pitched spectacular in relief firing 3 shut out innings earning the win.

Chris Dion tosses 5 shutout innings to help the Sabers defeat the Maddogs 7-2

Dion pitched 6 scoreless innings, letting up only 2 hits, while striking out 3 Maddogs to earn his 5th win of the season.

The Sabers would get on the board first with a Colucci batted ball in the top of the 1st.

Lenane would launch a 3 run homer in the 2nd to put the game out of reach, his 2nd home run in 3 games.

Lenane led the Stoneham offense with 3 hits, a home run, double and 4 RBI and Pizarro had 3 hits and 2 RBI.

Lopes launched a 2 RBI triple for Malden.

Knights Finally Stop Sucking and Win a game! Marty "Robocop" Dunlap(2-4 HR,2RS,3RBI) got the scoring started early in the first with a bomb to LF for a solo shot. Jose "booboo" Paulino (2-4 2b,2RS,3RBI) chipped in with a little offense himself as well as Kenny "Choritos" Polanco (2-3 2-2b's,2RS). The player of the game though was Chuck "Chuckie Monster" Erickson who had a stat line on the mound of (5IP,4H,1BB,1ER) and capped his night off with an absolute bomb to CF for his 1st "dinga" of the year. Great all around game for the 1st time this year by the knights.

ATBC pulls out a close one behind solid pitching from Kasey Kirby and Willie Archibald. Kirby went 3.2 then Archibald came in to finish up. At the plate the A's pushed 2 across in the 2nd and then went quiet until the bottom of the 6th scoring 2 to go ahead 4-3. Archibald slammed the door in the top of the 7th to complete the win.

Blaine McLean, Brandon Imonti and Brad McLean handle the hard hitting Astros. Blaine pitched 5 innings and allowed 3 ER, Imonti came in and kept the Dogs in it over one inning with two Ks, and Brad went 2 innings in his season debut for the W.

A six run 5th inning got the Dogs back into it after trailing 7-1. Malden loaded the bases in the 8th with nobody out before George Gouthier hit into a FC to end the game, with Geoff Lopes scoring the winning run. Dogs improve to 2-2, SE drops to 3-3.

Ferdinand, Lopes and Gouthier had two hits each for the Maddogs.
