In a classic YBL Play Off match up Chris Sandini goes the distance securing the win for the Rockies. Sandini tosses 7 innings allowing 1 run unearned run while striking out 6. At the plate it was timely hitting and solid base running propelling the Rockies to victory. In the first inning Chris Santosuosso (1-3,Run) singled and moved over to third on a steal and passed ball. He later scored on another passed ball. In the fourth inning Nate Laliberte (2-3, Run) leads the inning off with a single. He'd steal second and advance to 3rd on a passed ball setting the stage for Sean Glavin. Glavin laced a single up the middle scoring Laliberte for the eventual game winning hit. Rocks lead the best of 5 series 2-1.

Sabers defeat the Rockies 6-5 to end the regular season and tie a franchise best with 23 wins The Rockies would take two early one run leads on a Santosuosso single and Iafolla solo shot to center. Adams chipped in with a RBI single early for Stoneham. After starting the 6th with two outs, Flanagan, O'Brien and Cave would hit back to back to back singles to load the bases. Rice and Pizarro would draw two big RBI walks and the Sabers would take the lead. Leanane would then smash a bases clearing double to break the game open. The Rockies would battle back, but McNamara would come in and close out the game to earn the save. Despite giving up five runs Zampell pitched well for Stoneman and earned the win. Colucci would record his 200th career YBL hit for Stoneham.

Braves walk-off with a win against an always tough Revere squad. Braves score 2 in the 1st on a Robb liner and a DeFusco infield single. Rockies grab the lead in the 3rd on a Hartery double and a Rufo 2-run single. They add another in the 4th as Foote drives home DelRio and 2 in the 5th on a Swaz base-knock and a Foote ground out. Braves battle back with 4 in the 5th to tie it up on a bases loaded Walsh walk, a Joyce Sac Fly and Tracy's infield single. Greeley is able to sit the powerful Rocks 2-3-4 hitters in order in the 7th. In the bottom of the inning, Robb leads off with a walk and Walsh gets him to 2nd on another infield single. Facing his college teammate, Joyce smacks a ball between short and 3rd scoring Robb for the walk-off win. Best wishes go out to Alex Wong who sustained an arm injury on the mound. Revere loaded the bases in the top of the seventh when Peter Oggeri and Criscuolo both singled and Del Rio reached on a tough error. The threat ended there with a fly out to right. Aran Hamilton-Grenham picked up the win in relief. Ryan Filipowicz earned the save. Chris Sanding pitched well for Revere, but picked up the tough complete game loss.

Rockies secure win number one for new Manager Nate Laliberte. Laliberte hands the opening day start to Alex Wong. He'd fire 6 strong frames allowing just 1 run and striking out 4 Saints cruising toward his first victory of the season.
