Gauvin vs Szathmary, battle of two top pitchers in the league. Gauvin pitched 7 innings, SO 12, gave up 1ER, allowing 3 hits. Szathmary pitched 7 innings, SO 9, gave up 1ER, allowing 3 hits. Unbelievable how close the lines are.... Luckily for us Gauvin came out on top to pick up the win.

Sean Magee had 2 of the 3 Rockie hits and plated the game winning RBI in the 2nd inning on a single to score Crossman. Dave Mitrou had the only other hit.

For Somerville, their lone run came in the 6th: a leadoff double by Scioli, DesRoches moves him to 3B on a FC, and Feetham scores him on another FC.
