Offensively this game was highlighted by a nine run outburst in the 4th inning help by a Grand Slam by Dave Scioli. All runs were scored with two outs. |

Despite making 7 errors, a season high, the Maddogs still managed to pull out a tough win. Joe Pasciucco made his first start of the season and pitched into the 7th inning. With the tying run aboard Buddy Hanley came on and recorded his second save, striking out the final batter with the bases loaded.
Ryan Sweeney, Matt Cooney and Jay Sablone each had 2 hits in the game. |

Mike McCarthy started on the hill for the Rockies, going 5 innings of no hit baseball. But duty called as Mike had to leave the game. The Rockies were up 3-0 when McCarthy left the game. In the 6th inning, the Dodgers rallied to pull ahead 4-3, and scored once more to hold a 5-3 lead heading into the bottom of the 7th inning. With the bases loaded, Dan Jalbert hit a 2 run 2B to bring the game back to even and heading into extra innings. The Dodgers scored 1 run in the top of the inning but couldn't hold on. Kevin Spitz delivered the game winning 2-Run hit for the Rockies win.
