Leftfielder Joe Baressi's 2 run line drive single to leftfield provided enough offense for the victory. |

Rick McHugh made several outstanding plays at second base for the Sox while Andy Kurzon was the big hitter for the Sox.

Blaine Lewis got his third win of the season gong 5 and 2/3's and striking out 6 along the way. Blaine pitched out of trouble all day. The Black Sox had men on base in every inning and left eleven runners on base.
Eamonn McDonough came on in relief and finished the last inning and 1/3 by striking out 2 and walking 1.
Shortstop, Buddy Hanley knocked in the game winner on a 2-out, 2-strike pitch with runners on 1st and second base. Joe Pasciucco, who went 2 for 3 scored the run.
Matt Borto pitched tremendously, losing his second 1-0 game to the Maddogs. Borto went the distance striking out 7 and only yielding 6 hits and 2 walks. |
