East Boston Bombers 16, Savin Hill Hornets 10
The Blue Sox won their 3rd straight beating Savin Hill 16-10. EB held a 13-1 lead but SH cut the lead to 14-10 heading into the 7th but EB pulled away.
DiCenso, Kaperniak, King, Navarro, Walsh each collected 3 hits, Norsen, Bucci, Rauseo, and Vatalaro collected 2 hits.
Jason Pokrant went 4 strong for his 3rd win of the season and DiCenso closed the game out for his 1st save.
White and O'Toole had 3 hits apiece for Savin Hill. |

The Blue Sox defeated West Roxbury 3-1 in a classic pitcher's duel between Aaron Greenblatt and Greg Rockwell. Greenblatt carried a no-hitter into the sixth and was broken up with 2 outs by Mike Ryan. Greenblat finished with a 2 hitter and his 1st Yawkey League win. DiCenso, Bucci, and Kaperniak each collected 2 hits and Rauseo and Guerino each had RBI singles.
The win improved East Boston to 10-15 and kept their quest for the playoffs alive. |

East Boston Bombers 4, West Roxbury Devils 2
Blue Sox pitcher John Forbes pitched a tremendous game and the Sox ended a franchise worst 9 game losing streak beating West Roxbury 4-2. The Blue Sox win kept their faint playoff hopes alive improving to 9-15 on the season.
Timely hitting propelled the Sox, Chris Bucci 1 hit and 2 runs, John Kaperniak 3 hits and 1 run, and Donnie King 2 hits, 3 RBI, and 2 runs.
Szathmary pitched well for Westie and Robbie Lepardo had 2 hits in a losing effort. |

Greg Crossman scored 3 times to help Mike McCarthy and the Rockies pull out a much needed victory. Dan Jalbert collected 2 RBIs on 3 hits, while Kevin Spitz had 2 hits of his own. McCarthy pitched 7 strong innings, only allowing 3R (1ER). A 3 run 5th inning broke open the game, but a 4 run 6th inning sealed the win.

Somerville's bats were alive this night. Producing 18 hits and 17 runs against three East Boston's pitchers. Leading the way were All-stars Chris Wright and Marc DesRoches. Marc had a 4 for 4 evening, driving in 5 runs and scoring two while Chris reached base safely 4 times and scored every time. Rookie sensation Mike Feetham also had a 4 for 5 night.

Rob Celata led the A's to a 12-2 victory with 6 innings of 6-hit ball with no earned runs. The A's turned 3 double plays along the way in defeating a surging East Boston team.
Chris Malloy led the Al Thomas attack with a grand slam and 5 rbi, while Greg Lovely added a triple and homer, good for 3 rbi's. Brian Powers added 2 hits, while Steve Sherman ripped a triple, one of 7 extra base hits for the Al Thomas Club.
