Aaron Whittet throws a complete game shutout to blank the Rockies 8-0 to finish the Stoneham season in fashion.

Angelo Colucci led the offense going 3 for 3 with a RBI double, 2 stolen bases and scored 2 runs for Stoneham. Jake Zelnick had a multi hit game, also jacking his first Yawkey League home run, had two RBIS and scored two runs. Robinson continued to crack the ball having himself a multi hit game and a RBI.

Camelio, Whittet, Russo, and Stopford also had a RBI a piece. Ruderman also contributed offensively with a run and a sac bunt.

Aaron Whittet threw 7 scorless innings, letting up 5 hits and striking out 4 Rockie batters. As Joe Russo called his seventh shutout of the season behind the plate.

Defensively Jake Zelnick, Kris Camelio, and Ben Burkholder stayed sharp in the field making great plays. Burkholder's diving catch in right field ended the game.

Ryan Flanagan goes the distance to help the Sabers pick up their 11th win of the season.

Angelo Colucci's game winning RBI in the bottom of the third to score Sean Ruderman gave the Sabers enough to defeat the Maddogs. Kris Camelio had a clutch RBI bunt to to tie the game in the bottom of the first. Ryan Flanagan had the first RBI of the game. Greg Dubela also had a couple of hits for the Sabers.

Ryan Flanagan pitched yet another great game for Stoneham. Picking up his fourth win of the season. Flanagan struck out 9 Maddog batters and only let up four hits through 7 innings. Flanagan's offense stayed hot as it has all season and got a couple of hits and a RBI of his own.

Zelnick stayed sharp at shortstop for Stoneham.

Merrimac bound Connor Elmore picks up his 1st career YBL win, Bobby Sinopoli gets the save.
Stoneham touched up Elmore for 2 in the 2nd on 2 doubles and a single. Rockies jump ahead in the 5th on a 3r HR to RF off the bat of Gary Moran but the Sabres would claw back and go ahead by 1 after 5.

With 2 outs in the top of the 6th, Kyle Rufo worked a walk and pinch hitter William Sinopoli laces a triple to left center scoring Rufo to tie the game and Gary Moran follows with a double to score Sinopoli.

Nate Laliberte picks up the GWRBI in the 7th scoring Adam Del Rio and Greg Crossman adds an insurance run knocking in Laliberte.

The Maddogs jumped on the back of their pitchers once again and won their 7th game of the season by one run.

Blaine McLean went 5 and 1/3 and picked up his 3rd win of the season. Mike, The Horse, Victory picked up the save pitching the final inning and 2/3's.

Josh,The Hitdog,Rodriguez went 2-2 with a double to lead the offense.

Luke Regan doubled in 2 runs in the 5th to put Al Thomas up 5-4, and doubled in 2 more in the 6th for insurance as the A's defeated Stoneham 9-4.

Dan Gaughan picked up the win with 6 strong innings, with Cody Clark hurling a scoreless 7th inning.

Steve Lambert continued his hot hitting with a 2-run homer and a single, while Mike Niland chipped in with 2 hits. John Kostas and Tony Luciani each drove in a run for the Al Thomas Club.

Susko, Flanagan and Camelio had 2 hits apiece for the Sabers.

Savin Hill pounds out 14 hits on their way to a come from behind victory. Jon Scafro went 3-4. Pat McClay, Gary Kaye, Adam Morgan and Zack Lane each had two hits.

For Stoneham, Kris Camelio and Ben Burkholder both had two hits.

On the hill, Eric Johnson recorded his first Yawkey League win. Matt Chase closed the door for his 2nd save of the season.

Veteran pitcher Steve Melo took the mound Saturday and with his team desperately needing a strong performance threw a complete game shutout. Limited to only a fastball and a changeup due to an elbow injury, Melo kept the Sabers off balance while walking one and striking out 4.

The only Astros run was scored by Willie Sanjurjo who hit a 1 out triple in the 7th inning. Francis Reyes followed with a sac fly to right and that was all Melo needed to pick up his 2nd W of the season.

Malden came out strong tonight with the bats. Lead by Paul Covelle Jr. who went 3 for 3 and 4 RBI's and Tommy Englehardt who added a 3 run Home run.

Surprisingly all the lights were on and working at Ronan the Saints were caught in the bright lights with stoneham jumping out to a 4-2 lead. "update" Dacey settled down giving the bats a chance in the 6th. Miarecki coming out of the pen after dusting off the cob webs off his glove and arm got out of a bases loaded 6th. After whitter gave up consecutive walks Zach " bud heavy" Wintrow laid down a perfect bunt loading the bases.
After an run off an error and Stephenson loosening up in the shadows Farrell rushes to the plate before coach Tenney whose on 3rd makes a move Farrell swings at the first two connecting with the second with a line drive up the middle putting the Saints up for good.
Miarecki finishing the 7th sealing the victory pleasing the fans at sold out Ronan Park. Come see the saints take on Althomas tomorrow and after the game kids can run the movable bases wit Jon Tenney and Rob Stephenson.

The Stoneham offense explodes for 15 hits as Greg Dubela pitches his fourth win of the season.

Jake Zelnick led the Sabers offense this afternoon going 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBIS. Ryan Flanagan led the team with 4 hits, going 4 for 4 on the day with an RBI. Angelo Colucci had himself a multi hit game and adding 2 RBIS of his own. Mike Robinson also had two doubles of his own and scoring 2 Stoneham runs. Russo and Burkholder had themselves and RBI of their own as well.

Greg Dubela went all the way pitching 7 strong innings for Stoneham. Dubela struck out 6 Beacon batters and let up only 5 hits and two earned runs on the afternoon. Dubela also stayed hot at the plate getting two hits of his own and scored a run.

Reinfurt had two hits and two RBIS for the Beacons.

Ryan Flanagan throws another shutout to blank the Dodgers 1-0.

Flanagan struck out ten batters and only letting up one hit, while going the distance for the Sabers.

Joe Russo's perfect bunt to bring in Aaron Whittet in the bottom of the second inning was enough to defeat the Dodgers. Russo also had himself a day behind the plate, throwing a runner out and calling his sixth shutout of the season.

Greg Dubela had himself a day as well, going 3 for 3 at the plate.

Starting for the first time in 4 years, Marc Skipper threw an impressive complete game but took the loss in front of a sold out Recreation Park crowd. Villalobos had the only hit for the Dodgers.

Greg Dubela and Jak Zelnick's gutsy performance on the mound, help the Sabers hold on to their comeback to defeat the Hornets 11-10

After a fifth inning rain delay the Sabers offense came alive and scored nine in the top of the fifth. John Susko led Stoneham offense with three hits, 2 RBIS and hitting his first career Yawkey League home run. Angelo Colucci also had three hits of his own and a RBI. Kris Camelio and Mike Robinson also had themselves a multi hit game. Camelio, Robinson, and Stopford all had 2 RBIS a piece. Burkholder and Russo had one RBI each.

Jake Zelnick got the Sabers 4 big outs in relief. With a man on third and two outs in the last inning, Greg Dubela came back in to pitch to get the last out of the game. Securing his third win in arrow on the mound for Stoneham.
