Al Thomas scored 3 in the 7th to tie the game, then 3 in the 13th inning to win the game and take the series. Kudos to the heroic performance by Saints' pitcher Steve Hueston, who pitched into the 10th inning on 2 days rest, after throwing a complete game victory on Friday night. He left in the 10th to a standing ovation from the entire park. Congrats to both teams on a well-played, tough series.

Matt Quigg tossed 2 scoreless innings in relief, then James Katsiroubas came in and threw 7 innings of 4-hit shutout baseball with 7 k's to pick up the win. Katzy also singled in the tying run in the 7th after a double by John Kostas and triple by Steve Lambert.

Mark Daly's grounder in the ss hole proved to be the game winner. Kostas drove in the 3rd run of the inning to cap the scoring for the Thomas Club, which advances to the semifinals for the first time since 2005. The A's played their 4th consecutive playoff game without an error.

Will Clang tossed a complete game as tha A's put up 7 in the 1st inning on route to a 9-4 win. Steve Lambert had 3 hits, while Katsiroubas, Wheeler, McDonough and Kostas ripped doubles to lead the attack.

Dakota, Klaes and O'Connor each had 2 hits for the Saints.

Ryan Stoller outdueled Jim Farrell as the A's take the first game 4-1. Steve Lambert made a great catch in center to end the game. Katsiroubas, McDonough, Donahue and Daly drove in runs with base hits, while Clang went 2-3.

Sox hold on in the seventh to win third game in a row. Starter Eddie Samp pitched into the seventh to pick up the win. Matt Nicholson came on in the seventh with the bases loaded to pick up the save.

The Sox were lead offensively by Andy Kurzon, who as 3-4 including a 3 run home run in the top of the third. Nick Jones and Steve Tramontozzi also had two hits each.

Tim Dacey pitched well for South Boston, keeping the game close through six innings.

Offensively for South Boston, Rob Linn and Greg Schwind each had two hits, while Brendan Klaes hit a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth.

Four Hornet pitchers, Henry Spitzer, Nick Young, Nate Hodor and Gordon Lescinskis, combined for a 2-hit victory over South Boston.
Seven different Hornet batters had hits. Dave Clarke was forced home in the top of the seventh inning with the winning run when Adam Morgam was hit by a pitch. Mark Nickerson had both hits and John Tenney was strong in 6 inning of work for the Saints.

Talal Saleh notched his first win of 2010 pitching until there were two out in the 7th. Reliever Mike McGlaughlin came on with bases loaded, after surrendering hits to Linn and Tenny he recorded the final out for his second save of the season.

Pete Byron, Rookie of the Year Candidate, had 4 hits, giving him 6 in the doubleheader to go along with 4 runs scored and 5 RBI.

Fellow Rookie of the Year Candidates, Marty Dunlap and Matt Delaney each had 3 hits with Delaney knocking in 5 and Dunlap knocking in 6 on the day.
