East Boston, Mass. - The Somerville Alibrandis take home a convincing game one win in the YBLCS with a 13-2 victory over top seeded East Boston. Lamarre Rey tossed another complete game allowing just two first inning runs on five hits while striking out 7. Bill Karalis went 4-for-5 with a HR and 4 RBI to pace the Alibrandi offense along with Juan Parra, who went a perfect 4-for-4. Will Brennan and Bobby Barrett each added HRs for Somerville. Shawn Carlson suffered the loss for EBK. Ed Colmenares had a two RBI hit. Game Two will be tomorrow night at East Boston Stadium. Projected pitching match up is Jeff Allison (EBK) vs. Chris Foundas (SOM). Game time is set for 8pm.
