The Blue Sox defeated West Roxbury 3-1 in a classic pitcher's duel between Aaron Greenblatt and Greg Rockwell. Greenblatt carried a no-hitter into the sixth and was broken up with 2 outs by Mike Ryan. Greenblat finished with a 2 hitter and his 1st Yawkey League win. DiCenso, Bucci, and Kaperniak each collected 2 hits and Rauseo and Guerino each had RBI singles. The win improved East Boston to 10-15 and kept their quest for the playoffs alive.

Blue Sox pitcher John Forbes pitched a tremendous game and the Sox ended a franchise worst 9 game losing streak beating West Roxbury 4-2. The Blue Sox win kept their faint playoff hopes alive improving to 9-15 on the season. Timely hitting propelled the Sox, Chris Bucci 1 hit and 2 runs, John Kaperniak 3 hits and 1 run, and Donnie King 2 hits, 3 RBI, and 2 runs. Szathmary pitched well for Westie and Robbie Lepardo had 2 hits in a losing effort.
