Braves take an early lead thanks to 2-run (1st) and 1-run (3rd) singles from Uberti and back to back ground rule doubles by Glantz (1 RBI) and Joyce (2 RBI) in the 3rd. They add 3 more in the 4th and 5th on some uncharacteristic errors from the Sabers defense.

Both teams trade unearned runs in the 1st. Glantz scores on an overthrow in the top half while Adams doubles in Luciano after he reached on a dropped pop-up.

A controversial call goes against the Sabers in the 3rd as Lenane drives one deep down the left field line for what appeared to be a go-ahead homer but it was ruled foul by the home plate umpire.
