It was a Tom Ready Old Timers night at Cimalore. Former Ready legends Mark Ready, Nick Goodwin, Jay Lague, John Varas and Andy Viele dusted off the cleats and returned to action vs S&S. Mike Dewald gets win number 5 throwing 7 inn, striking out 9 and walking no one. Andy Viele gets the hold striking out 2 in the 8th, then Andrew Smiley gets the save striking out the side in the 9th. Jay Lague picks up where he left off 4 years ago with a 3 hit night, and Jeff Murphy and Griffy Potter had 2 hits each for the Old Timers. Rico Dei pithed a complete game allowing 3 runs for the turf technicians. |

Deans completes the sweep of the doubleheader with a mercy-shortened 6 inning game. Plenty of offense in this one as David Jung swung the hot bat again going 3-for-4 with 4 RBI's. Cody Mazzarella kept the bats quiet on the other end by pitching 6 scoreless innings and striking out 10. |

Deans takes Game 1 of the day-day doubleheader with plenty of offense and quality pitching from Vinny Gieck. Gieck hammered in 10 K's in 6 innings of work allowing only 1 run. On the offensive end, Justin Rainville smashed three hits while Kevin Okruta, Matt Okruta, and David Jung all enjoyed multiple hit afternoons as well. |
