In the 33rd and final game of the season the Astros sent Joey "Eyeball" Ortiz to the mound for his first start of the season. Ortiz responded with a complete game victory, scattering 5 hits and giving up 4 runs, only 2 earned and striking out 6.

Offensively Brad "The Beard" Presler and Rommel Peguero had 2 doubles each, and Eddy Morrobel Castillo and Presler had 3 RBI each. Coach Carl Rodriguez scored the game winning run after taking one off the back of the head and stealing second base, which is about as rare as Big Papi swiping a bag!

The Astros finish up the season with a 13-19-1 record. Certainly not the end result we were hoping for, but this team has increased its win total for the 3rd consecutive season, and beat some great teams along the way! The future looks bright....until next year.........

Roxbury, MA..The Knights traveled to the South End to face off against the Astros at Jim Rice Field in the 2nd game of a home and home series. The Knights sent Branden Eaton to the bump to face off against Julio Carmona. Eaton allowed a leadoff homerun to Rommel Peguero and settled in nicely after that only allowing an unearned run in the 4th. This was a pitchers dual for most of the night as Carmona kept the Knights off balance for a solid 6 innings.

The Knights then mounted another comeback against the Astros. Matty Rodriguez led the inning off against fireballer Eddy Morrobel and was hit by a pitch to start the rally. Morrobel would then walk the next 2 batters to load the bases. The Astros would make the call to the bullpen bringing in Mike Rizzo setting the stage for Jose Paulino. Paulino would then lace a double to right center field to score 2 runs to tie the game. The Knights score 2 more to take a 4-2 lead to win the game.
