The Bluefish didn't get many hits, but the ones they did get counted. Chris Hartery's 3 run HR in the 3rd gave the Bluefish the lead for good as they defeated the Rockies by a score of 5-2 in what always is a friendly rivalry game between the 2 teams. Chris Santosuosso gave the Bluefish some insurance by hitting a 2 run HR to left in the 5th. Michael Close hit a long HR to right in the first for the Rockies, while Kevin Spitz went 2 for 3 in defeat.

McCarthy picks up his 6th win on the year, striking out 7 over 5 innings. Connors notches his 2nd save in as many nights. Offensively Laliberte leads the Rockies attack going 3-4 RBI; Philson stays hot with 2 more hits and "Roadkill" Bucciarelli was a meanace on the basepaths with 2 hits, a walk and 2 stolen bases. Owens and Ciocca each had two hits for the Beacons.
