Mike Muccio's solo homer in the 5th proved the difference in the game. The Rockies cut the lead to 1 and had the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th before a clutch DP by Will Lawton ended the game.

Tyler Middleton went to 2-0 on 5 shutout innings with 6 strike outs. Talal Saleh picked up his first save of the season pitching the final 2 innings.
Maguire had 2 hits, 3 stolen bases and a run scored. Hanley had a single and 2 walks and Luongo had 2 hits. Johnny Cunningham added a hit, run scored and stolen base. |

The Bluefish didn't get many hits, but the ones they did get counted. Chris Hartery's 3 run HR in the 3rd gave the Bluefish the lead for good as they defeated the Rockies by a score of 5-2 in what always is a friendly rivalry game between the 2 teams. Chris Santosuosso gave the Bluefish some insurance by hitting a 2 run HR to left in the 5th. Michael Close hit a long HR to right in the first for the Rockies, while Kevin Spitz went 2 for 3 in defeat. |

Revere comes out on top after the usual battle with the Beacons. It seems almost every game between these two teams in decided by a run or two.
McCarthy picks up his 6th win on the year, striking out 7 over 5 innings. Connors notches his 2nd save in as many nights. Offensively Laliberte leads the Rockies attack going 3-4 RBI; Philson stays hot with 2 more hits and "Roadkill" Bucciarelli was a meanace on the basepaths with 2 hits, a walk and 2 stolen bases.
Owens and Ciocca each had two hits for the Beacons. |

An unearned run won this for the Somerville 9.
Mike Feetham and Steve Corda each had doubles for their teams.
The play of the game goes out to our own Manager Mike Powers for walking the potentional winning run,Hard Hitting Steve Corda(Rockies) in the top of the seventh putting runners on 1st & 2nd with one out. Jared Liederman induced a ground ball and a popup to record his second save.

It was a total team effort for the Cyclones getting 8 hits and earning 5 walks to keep the offense going. |
