Chris Dion goes the distance and the Sabers edge the Rockies 2-1 in a pitchers duel at Chelsea HS The Sabers got on the board early. Stefan Botarelli would lead off with a walk and Ryan Flanagan and Mike Robinson would hit singles each. Travis Adams would score Botarelli on a sacrifice fly and Angelo Colucci would hit a sacrifice fly of his own to score Flanagan on what would end up being the game winning run. Dion pitched 7 strong innings, allowing only 3 hits, on 1 earned, while striking out 5 Rockies, to earn his 6th win of the season. Rich Wlodarczyk got the tough luck loss.
