The Chelsea Royals took the field behind Mike Sciarappa on Friday night to meet the Braves for the first time this season. The Royals were trailing by a run after the second, but Sciarappa had command of his pitches and the defense stepped up to keep the Braves off the board. The Royals finally broke through in the fourth scoring 2 to take the lead and they added to that in the fifth by adding three more and allowing Sciarappa to earn his 3rd victory of the season.
