Mike McCarthy picked up his first win of the season as he pitched 5 scoreless innings, giving up 4 Hits and SO 8. Neal Roper went 4-5 at the plate, scoring 2 runs, driving in 2, and 1 SB. Chad Conner and Gary Moran also had multihit games with 2 hits each. The Rockies scored in each of the first 3 innings to jump out to a 9-0 lead.
