Marty Whitmore got his second win of the year as he goes the distance against a tough Al Thomas team. Brookline jumped out to an early 5-0 lead on a bunch of singles, and a few walks, and never looked back. Al Thomas battled back, and stayed in the game on a couple of 2-out rallies to keep the game close, but Whitmore was able to pitch great and conserve the win. Matt Nussbaum was 3-3 with a bomb to left that just came up short of a homerun to lead the Dodger offense, while Smith had 2 hits, and Ryan & Ramsey each had a hit a piece. Chris Malloy led the A's with 2 hits, while Lovely, each of the Powers', and Hellisey each had a hit a piece.
