The Dodgers win their third game of the season with timely hitting, and some pretty solid defense. The runs were scored by puting up 8 runs in the 3rd, and 2 more in the 4th, on route to the 10-6 victory. 8 of the 9 starters had at least 1 hit, while Jay Shatto, Bryan Duffy, and Matt Nussbaum each had 2 hits. Marty Whitmore collected his first win of the season by striking out 5, and allowing only 2 earned runs. Pat McGrath came on in the 7th to finish it out, but managed to make it interesting by getting the last out with the bases loaded. Guarino pitched very well in relief for Revere not allowing any runs, and striking out 3, while Roper collected 2 hits to lead the Rockies offense.
