Sean Morrissey pitched well and took a 6-3 lead into the 7th inning. Cambridge took advantage of a couple of errors and banged out 3 hits to tie the game. With the bases loaded and one out, Kenny Luongo came in and on the first pitch got a line drive to right fielder, Lucas Einstein, who threw out the runner tagging from third to preserve the tie. Johnny Cunningham led off the 8th with his second hit of the night, advanced to third on Luongo's second ground rule double and third hit of the night, and scored what proved to be the winning run on Joe Sheehan's sacrifice fly. Maguire hit his first home run of the season and scored three times.
