RICK & ROCK TEAM-UP ON ROYALS Hornets' hard luck pitcher Rick Dolan gets his first win of the season with help from The Rock. Hard luck as 3 of his 5 losses have been one run affairs. CF Paul "The Rock" Larcoque helped Ricky to his first win with outstanding offense and defense in this contest. The Rock struck for a double and a triple, scored twice and had an RBI. On defense, the sure handed and speedy Rock set a YBL *record with 9 put-outs by an outfielder, 3 or 4 of which were Web Gem grabs. The Royals broke up Dolan's shutout in the 7th when 1B Pat Sultenfuss singled and advance to third after Hornet SS Mike Mori made a spectacular diving catch of a scalding line shot up the middle, but errored the throw to first attempting to double up the runner. Royal RF Klemm came through with a clean single that scored the shutout breaking run from third. *No official records are kept of put-outs.
