Yawkey League Baseball: Tense, frustrating, teeth gnashing,nerve racking, dramatic, hearbreaking and thrilling. This game had it all. 3 double plays, 9 outfield outs, 19 hits, 23 assists, a rundown, a balk, a sacrafice bunt, intentional walks, an attempt to hit an IBB pitch, extra innings and a walk off game winning base hit. In the bottom of the eighth with a runner at 2B, with one out, Savin Hill's DH Dave Bonnell tried to duplicate his 20 year ago famous slap hit of an IBB pitch that won a playoff game. But alas, not this time as the McKay Club was alert to the play. This set up Rookie catcher, Nate Hodor, who with two out an two strikes blasted the walk off hit deep down the right field line for the dramtic come from behind win.
