Mike Barthell tossed a gem. A complete game two hitter to help his mates clinch a tie for a playoff spot and end the McKay Club two year playoff drought. Nando Trindidade hit a sac fly to center to plate Chris Deane with the winning run in the 3rd. Barthell was the word all day as he struck out 7 and walked only one. Shaun Farrer pitched well enough to win for the plucky Dodgers. He also went the distance allowed 2 runs on 11 scattered hits. Now the Beacons must wait to see what South Boston does the next two nights @ Town Field.
