Aidan Powers struck out a pinch hitter to end the game with the potential tying and winning runs on base, as the A's snuck out of King Field with a 4-3 victory over the McKay Club. Powers tossed a complete game with 6 strikeouts. Mark Daly led the quiet offense with 2 hits and a walk, while he and Chris Malloy drove in the only runs for the Thomas Club. Malloy, recently returned from a lengthy cross-continent excursion, also threw out the potential tying run at the plate from right field after catching a fly ball. In all, the defense turned in 4 double plays. Sean Sullivan pitched very well in defeat and deserved a better fate, fanning 9. Andy McAllister and Rob Linn led the Beacons' offense.
