In a good old fashioned slugfest, the Rockies narrowly top the Brewers in Game 1 of a twin-bill at Revere High. The Rockies jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first two innings but the Brighton offense (Highlited by a Hordon Grand Slam and solo shot) continued to chip away. Rookie Bobby Sims notched the win on the hill, with Guarino and Connors finishing the game off. Seven of the nine Rockies starters had multi-hit games, led by Coffee 4-6, 2RBI, Corda 2-4, HR,3RBI Spitz 3-5 2RBI and Moran 3-5 2RBI, 2R. The Brewer's Vicanti was 2-5 on the day as well.
