Veteran pitcher Steve Melo took the mound Saturday and with his team desperately needing a strong performance threw a complete game shutout. Limited to only a fastball and a changeup due to an elbow injury, Melo kept the Sabers off balance while walking one and striking out 4. The only Astros run was scored by Willie Sanjurjo who hit a 1 out triple in the 7th inning. Francis Reyes followed with a sac fly to right and that was all Melo needed to pick up his 2nd W of the season.
