Al Thomas slugs their way back from a 5-0 deficit and takes a 6-5 lead into the bottom of the 7th on an Adian Powers single. However, Savin Hill tied it in the bottom of the 7th on a sacrifice fly by Dave Clarke. And then won it in the 8th when Sean Gordon took ball four with the bases loaded. Four Al Thomas hitters, Steve Lambert, Bill Donahue, Luke Regan and Aidan Powers had three hits in the game. For the Hornets Pat McClay had three hits and Freddi Carrera and Gary Kaye each had two. Matt Chase picks up the win in relief for Savin Hill. Dan Gaughan takes the loss.
