Always a battle when these two teams lock horns, the Brewers edge out the Bluefish 2-1 behind a solid pitching performance by first year man Chris Marsh. Tony Iafolla led off the bottom of the second with a double and later scored on a wild pitch to take an early lead. Then,in the third, knowing that runs are hard to come by when facing Demers, the Brewers play a little small ball to scrape a second run across, going ahead 2-0. The Bluefish came within 1 run in the sixth, but left the bases loaded as Brighton escaped the inning with a 1 run lead. Marc Hordon then came in to close the game for the Brewers in the seventh frame. A good night of baseball at Rogers.
