Young rookie Josh Hutchings (Whitman/Hanson HS) took the baseball to the mound on a beautiful clear perfect baseball evening and pitched a solid game thru 6 innings. Leaving after the 6th with a 10-3 lead he had to sweat a little as the Cambridge Yankees managed to creep back into the game. The suspense ended as the Yankees with 2 down and bases loaded had the tieing run on first. A bang/bang play at first base ended the threat and the game giving relief pitcher Joe Priestly a very scary save as well as the putout.
