Rookie Savin Hill pitcher Ricky Dolan got his first victory in the YBL and the Hornets earned their second 'W' of the season. The pesky Hornets were buzzing the basepaths stealing 9 bases in the rain shortened game. The Braves made the game interesting as they had the game tying run at the plate when the skies opened up, drenching players and equipment and sending everyone scurring about the field grabbing equipment, bags, bats & helmets as the men in blue called a halt to the game so players could swim to safety.
