The Marlins scored first when Bob Rodericks led-off the third with a base hit, advanced on a single by James Reyes, and scored on Nelson Morales' hit. White Fire answered with 2 runs in the top of the fourth on a Cam Newell single which plated Bryan Curran and Andy Devereaux. In the bottom of the sixth, Angelo Santos walked and James Reyes bunted for a base hit. After Nelson Morales sacrificed, Diego Campos delivered a 2-RBI double that would complete the scoring.
