It didn't matter last night that half the lights are out at Rogers Field because both offenses provided plenty of fireworks that lit up the sky as the teams combine for 22 runs on over 20 hits. It started early after only one frame it was 5-3 Minutemen and they would eventually build an 11-3 lead until the Braves plate 7 in the 5th by sending 12 hitters to the plate but a long flyout left the tying runs on base. Erich Quinn trades the Park league in for the YBL after a few years and gets the win. Kyle Buika was called on in the long 5th and Buiks would close the door the rest of the game for the save. Offensively the Minutemen 2-6 hitters combine to go 11-19 with three 2B and a 3B. Geoff Lopes leads the way with 3 hits and hired gun Rob Linn continues to swing a hot stick as he has 5 Ribs. Minutemen look forward to 5 games next week.....rain stay away!!
