Bulldogs walk off with another win! Malden, MA - The Malden Bulldogs were able to record their second win of 2011 as they beat the McKay Club 2-1 in the bottom of the eighth. Brad Tardugno was the hero as his fielder's choice brought home the winning run in Kevin Salines, who singled to begin the eighth. Mike DiCato (W, 1-0) earned the victory as he tossed four scoreless innings of relief. Salines finished the game going 2-for-4 with 2 runs scored while Elliot Shea, Tom Englehardt, Bobby Brown, Anthony Perry and Paul Covelle all recorded base hits. For McKay Club, James Dalton (L, 0-1) was the tough luck loser as he held the Malden offense to just two runs over 7+ innings of work. Bryan Curran contributed a solid evening for the Beacons as he was 2-for-3 with 2 stolen bases.
