The South Boston Saints scratched out a gutsy, come-from-behind 4-3 victory over the Malden Bulldogs in extra innings on Saturday afternoon at Ronan Park in Dorchester. Tim Dacey battled through a rough first inning for his fourth win of the season. After giving up five hits and three earned runs in the first, Dacey settled into a groove and pitched the next seven innings while allowing only three hits and no runs. He retired 21 of the final 26 batters he faced. The Saints offense, however, struggled against Malden starter Evan Tardungo but was able to take advantage of key miscues throughout the game to put just enough on the board. Rob Linn, as he often does, led the charge by stroking three hits. His last stroke was a walk-off single through the left side of the infield to win the game.
