Dan Gaughan tossed a 3-hit shutout as the A's beat the Minutemen 7-0. Gaughan walked 2 and struck out 4 in winning his 3rd game of the season. John Kostas went 3-3 with a double, Bill Donahue had 2 hits and Luke Regan added a double, triple and sacrifice fly in his first start of the year. Lambert, Wheeler, Chris McDonough and von Harten rounded out the hitting attack for Al Thomas. Christman, Lopes and Derrick Happas had the hits for Brighton.
