Starter Scotty Lynch went down with arm trouble with 1 out in the 2nd inning and runners on 1st and 3rd. Buddy Hanley stepped in and struck out the first batter he faced and Johnny Cunningham made a great diving catch on a line drive up the middle to end the threat. Hanley pitched through the 6th. Joe Pasciucco, making his first appearance of the year, finished the last 2 innings and picked up his first win of the Season. Hanley also tripled and knocked in Jay Sablone with the game winner with 2 outs in the 8th and scored an insurance run when the throw home got away. Marc Crovo and Lynch also tripled in the game. Crovo was 2 for 2 with a walk and a stolen base. Crovo has been a work horse for Medford catching 38 innings in the past 4 days.
