After the soccer players disband, Waltham and East Boston squared off on the turf. Waltham took a 6-0 lead but EB put up 3 in one inning to cut the lead in half. The Sox answered with some runs of their own and end up getting a 10-3 win with Dana Levensaler going the distance on the hill to move to 4-1 on the season. Josh Leet (2-3, BB, 2R, 3RBI) made several nice plays at 3B and along with Mike Barthel and Miguel Walker all had 2 hits each. Leet also homered as did Bobby Lebrun. Torrance Mcneil (3-5, 1R, 2RBI) and Dana Levensaler (3-5, 2R, 2RBI, 2B, 3B) continue to keep pace with one another in the hit category, adding 3 each but Torrance will be reminding Dana all year that the backstop at East Boston is close as evidence of him being thrown out at the plate on a past ball.
