The rain held off in Brighton long enough for the Braves to pick up their first victory of the season. Ryan Ouellete got things going in the 1st with a bases loaded 2-run single. Jared Cianciolo followed that up with an RBI single of his own. Nick Foundas pitched well for the Braves allowing only 3 hits through 4. Tiring after the 4th, the Hornets collected 6 hits and 2 runs in the next 2 innings. Justin Depasse finished things off in the 7th with a 1-2-3 inning. Ouellete led the Braves offense with 4 hits, 1 run and 4 RBI. Ben Drayn led the Savin Hill offense going 3-4 with a SB. Michel and Tagliaferri had 2 hits each for the Hornets.
