Harbor Point finally ended their 5-game losing streak Wednesday with 9-2 win over the Astros at Ross Field. Dodger starter Steve DeFusco (W, 1-1) pitched 6 innings of 3 hit, 2 run ball to earn his 1st win of 2009. DeFusco struck out 6 and walked 3 in an impressive game on a very cold night. CF Steve Walsh led the offense, going 3-3 with 2 doubles, 2 runs, 2 RBI and a walk. SS Jerrad Ryan (2-4, 2 runs, RBI) and RF Gregg Smith (2-3, 2 runs, RBI, BB) also had big nights at the plate. 2B Andy Zides added 2 hits in 4 ABs and had an RBI to go with a solid defensive game in which the Dodgers made 0 errors.
