Blaine McLean pitched Medford's 2nd "GEM" in a row, following Klein's 2 hit shutout on Sunday, with a 6 inning effort, striking out 6, walking 3, giving up only 4 hits and two runs, one earned. Mike Victory picked up the save. After a walk and a stolen base, catcher Geoff Lopes picked off the runner on second. Victory got the next two batters on a pop-up and a strike out. The Dogs were down in the 7th by a run with 2 outs and no one on. Garber, Maltzan and Vennochi all singled to tie it and Delaney got a ground ball and reached on an error as the winning run crossed the plate. Loveless pitched a great game himself for the Nationals taking a one-hitter into the 7th.
